PARKLANE is a 4 Piece Melodic Alternative Rock Band based in Cape Town, South Africa. The band first appeared on the SA music scene back in 2003. After a year of immediate success with two number one hits on the National Radio station 5fm and having played shows and festivals all over SA, the original members went their separate ways.
PARKLANE has been through a few line up changes but has now settled with musicians that are not just good friends but awesome technicians on their individual instruments.. PARKLANE has stepped out of the comforts of South Africa and is taking on the world with tours confirmed for 2009 to various countries.. They are currently recording their first full album in London, Ontario in Canada after showcasing in the Canadian Music Week Festival in Toronto.
